Scope and mission
Open Access Journal of Ophthalmology and Optometry (OAJOO) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access scientific publication that serves as a forum for sharing research in ophthalmology, optometry, and visual sciences. It offers a global opportunity for scientists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, physicians, surgeons, and other health professionals to share high-standard research papers concerning the development, innovation, and clinical application of discoveries related to eye care, the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of eye diseases.
The journal publishes various types of research papers such as original scientific articles, reviews, clinical investigations, case reports, short communications, and technical reports. The main focus of OAJOO is the promotion of high-standard scientific evidence and innovative methods for improving eye care, vision function, diagnostics, and clinical treatment. Interdisciplinary research using advanced technology, biomedicine, and healthcare is welcomed as a means to increase the level of vision healthcare service.
