Reviewer Guidelines

Peer reviews are of great importance at Velnora publications because they ensure the uniqueness and quality of a scientific work. It is important to note that reviewers perform an essential role in this process since they facilitate the publication of high-quality papers.

Generally speaking, reviewers are highly experienced researchers with a PhD (equivalent qualification) in a corresponding area.

Role of Reviewers

Reviewers are not required to rewrite manuscripts. Instead, their responsibility is to provide honest, constructive, and professional feedback on the submitted work. These comments are essential in helping editors make informed decisions regarding publication.

To maintain a smooth and efficient review process, reviewers are expected to follow these guidelines:

  • Respond to the review invitation by accepting or declining within a reasonable time.
  • If unable to review, they may suggest suitable colleagues; however, the invitation itself should not be transferred directly.
  • Review manuscripts assigned based on their area of expertise. If a paper falls outside their specialization, they should inform the editorial office.
  • Complete the review within the given timeframe to ensure timely publication.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and its contents at all times.
  • Do not use any unpublished information from the manuscript for personal or professional benefit.
  • Provide objective and ethical feedback to support the editorial decision-making process.

At Velnora publishers, final publication decisions are made by the editors, taking into account the reviewers’ comments and overall manuscript quality.
