Special Issues Guidelines

Overview

Velnora Publications welcomes proposals for Special Issues that focus on emerging research areas, interdisciplinary topics, and significant developments within academic and professional fields. Special Issues are designed to bring together high-quality research articles centered on a clearly defined theme, providing readers with comprehensive insights into current challenges, innovations, and future directions.

Special Issues are managed by invited Guest Editors who possess recognized expertise in the proposed subject area. These collections aim to encourage collaboration among researchers, foster scholarly discussion, and highlight advancements that have the potential to influence future research and practice.

Proposal Submission

Researchers interested in organizing a Special Issue should submit a proposal that includes:

• Proposed title of the Special Issue
• A brief description of the theme and its significance
• Key topics and areas to be covered
• Names, affiliations, and biographies of the proposed Guest Editor(s)
• Tentative timeline for manuscript submission and publication
• Expected contribution and relevance to the journal's scope

All proposals are evaluated by the journal's editorial team to ensure academic relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal's objectives.

Responsibilities of Guest Editors

Guest Editors play an important role in the successful management of a Special Issue. Their responsibilities include:

• Promoting the Special Issue within relevant research communities
• Inviting contributions from qualified researchers and experts
• Assisting in the preliminary assessment of submitted manuscripts
• Recommending suitable peer reviewers
• Supporting the editorial process while maintaining academic integrity
• Ensuring that all submissions meet the journal's ethical and quality standards

Final publication decisions remain the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and the journal's editorial office.

Manuscript Submission and Review

All manuscripts submitted to a Special Issue must follow the journal's author guidelines and submission requirements. Submissions undergo the same rigorous peer-review process applied to regular journal articles. Acceptance is based on originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, relevance to the Special Issue theme, and compliance with ethical publishing standards.

Guest Editors and authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Manuscripts authored by Guest Editors will be handled independently to ensure a fair and unbiased review process.

Publication Ethics

Velnora Publications is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All submissions are screened for originality and ethical compliance. Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must include appropriate ethical approvals and informed consent where applicable.

Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and other forms of academic misconduct will result in immediate rejection and may lead to further corrective actions according to the publisher's policies.
