AI & Plagiarism Policy

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools

Authors are permitted to employ artificial intelligence (AI) technology as well as other linguistic aids to refine grammar, linguistic quality, formatting, or readability of their manuscripts. Nevertheless, AI technologies shall not be listed as authors or co-authors of the manuscripts since they cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the manuscripts.

The authors are solely responsible for all content published in their manuscripts, irrespective of the extent of AI involvement in the development of that content. Where the AI technologies have played a major role in developing the manuscript, the authors need to indicate this by providing a proper acknowledgment or methodology section.

Any attempt by the authors to use AI technologies to manipulate data, results, interpretation, or representation of the research findings is strictly prohibited.

Plagiarism Policy

Velnora Publications follows a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism and any form of scholarly misconduct. Plagiarism refers to the act of using another person's ideas, texts, data, images, tables, or results without giving credit to the original creator.

All submitted papers are screened for plagiarism using appropriate software prior to undergoing the peer review process. Papers that contain cases of plagiarism, duplication, self-plagiarism, fabrication of data, among other unethical acts, may be rejected outright from the journal.

All authors are expected to adhere to the journal's rules on citations of the material used within the manuscript, and identify overlaps with their previous works by citing them accordingly.

Editorial Responses

In the event that plagiarism, improper usage of AI, data falsification, and other research misconducts are discovered before or after publication, the journal has the right to take appropriate actions. These include, among others, rejecting manuscripts, correcting papers, retracting papers, informing the relevant institutions of authors' affiliations, and barring future submission.

By submitting their manuscript to Velnora Publications, the authors acknowledge that their paper is original, was written ethically, and complies with the journal's policies on AI, plagiarism, and scholarly writing.
