Healthcare Quality & Safety (HQS) is an international peer-reviewed, open access journal focused on promoting healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, and healthcare management through research and innovations. It serves as an academic journal for healthcare professionals, scholars, and academics involved in researching in this particular field to publish their findings and innovations in healthcare quality improvement, patient safety, and healthcare management.
Journal promotes the publishing of scientific knowledge in order to ensure excellence in healthcare quality improvement and patient safety. Contributions in Healthcare Quality & Safety cover issues related to patient-centered care, clinical governance, healthcare management, risk assessment and mitigation, infection control and prevention, healthcare technology, quality assurance, public health safety, healthcare policy, and performance measurement, among others. In addition, the journal encourages research on innovative methods for improving the performance of healthcare organizations through better outcomes, patient safety culture development, and efficiency of healthcare facilities.
Submissions to HQS pass through a strict peer review and editorial evaluation process aimed at establishing the manuscript's scientific quality, originality, ethical validity, and relevance.
