Biography
Dr. Francisco Willame de Sousa Alberto Junior is a Food Engineer with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. His academic and research activities are interdisciplinary, encompassing animal welfare, animal production, food science and technology, agricultural engineering, certification systems, and sustainable production. His research experience also includes emerging technologies applied to animal production, quality and safety of animal-derived foods, sustainability, and scientific and technological innovation. He has participated in academic and research collaborations in Brazil and internationally, including activities with the University of Bologna, Italy.
