Biography
V. Manikandan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at SNS College of Pharmacy and
Health Sciences, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He holds an M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics and is actively
involved in pharmaceutical education, research, scientific writing, academic mentoring, and peer-review
activities.
His research interests focus on novel drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical nanotechnology, Quality by Design
(QbD)-based formulation optimization, and advanced topical and transdermal drug delivery. His research
experience includes vesicular drug delivery systems, ufasomes, spanlastics, nanogels, nanosponges, lipid-based
nanocarriers, topical formulations, and transdermal delivery systems.
He has contributed to scientific publications and academic book projects and has experience in peer review
within pharmaceutical sciences and related research areas. His broader academic interests include formulation
development, pharmaceutical nanotechnology, advanced drug delivery, formulation optimization, and
pharmaceutical product development.
