Biography
Mr. Sandip Karmakar is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Sanaka Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions, Durgapur, India, and a Ph.D. Research Scholar in Pharmaceutics at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar. He holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, in which he was the Department and College Topper. He is also a GPAT Rank Holder, NIPER JEE Qualifier, and NPTEL Course Topper in Experimental Nanobiotechnology offered by IIT Roorkee. His academic and research experience encompasses pharmaceutics, drug delivery systems, biopolymers, formulation development, and pharmacokinetics. He has published research and review articles in peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes to academic and scholarly activities as a reviewer. His research interests focus on the development of innovative, biopolymer-based and nutraceutical delivery systems, functional food-derived bioactive compounds, glucose-responsive drug delivery, oral and mucosal delivery systems, and the application of natural polymers and phytoconstituents for the prevention and management of chronic diseases.
