Biography
Piyali Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor of Law in Sureswar Dutta Law College, affiliated under University of Calcutta. She has Under Graduate (UG) teaching experience at MAB Institute of Juridical Science, Domkal, affiliated to University of Kalyani and also Post Graduate (PG) teaching experience at the Department of law, Murshidabad University. She has pursuing her PhD (Registered & Coursework completed in January,2024) in the area of Intellectual property rights from the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. She has obtained her integrated degree in Bachelor of Business administration and Law and Master’s degree with specialization in corporate law. She has also obtained a post graduate diploma in Forensic science and Cyber Forensic from International Forensic Science Institute, Pune, India. She has experience in legal research, and civil matters at Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal in Aurangabad and Bombay high court. She has worked as a trainee at Sherlock Institute of Forensic Science, New Delhi. She has expertise in the field of Document verification and Fingerprint examination, Handwriting analysis and cyber forensics. She has accomplished certificate courses on Intellectual Property Rights and PCT from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, Geneva, Switzerland) and Artificial Intelligence from Lund University, Sweden. She has gathered trainee experience in Ethical Hacking. She has worked in the area of Geographical Indication and Protection of handloom in West Bengal. She is also supervising dissertation works for post graduate students in the area of corporate law, cyber law and criminal law at Murshidabad University.
