Biography
Dr. Persefoni Lambrou-Christodoulou is a Senior Dental Officer at the Cyprus Ministry of Health, where she has served since 1990, currently also providing dental care within the Cyprus Prison Services. She holds a DDS, two master's degrees in Public Sector Management and Health Services Management, a PhD in Health Sciences, and postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Odontology. Alongside her clinical career, she is a Scientific Collaborator at the School of Dentistry, European University Cyprus, teaching forensic dentistry, cariology and oral ecology. Her research focuses on healthcare quality, patient safety, hospital dentistry, forensic odontology, and the relationship between oral and general health. She authorized numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented extensively at international scientific conferences, and serves on scientific committees and as a reviewer for several international journals. She is an active member of professional organizations in dentistry, contributing to education, research, and healthcare policy development.
