Biography
Dr. Partha Ranjan Das (PT) is a Senior Assistant Professor in Neuroscience Physiotherapy at Abhinav Bindra Sports Medicine & Research Institute (ABSMARI), Bhubaneswar, with over seven years of combined clinical and academic experience. A PhD scholar at SRM University, Chennai, he holds an MPT (Neurology) with distinction and a BPT from the National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped. Dr. Das’s work spans neurological rehabilitation, sports medicine, and clinical teaching; he supervises MPT dissertations, serves as an internal and external examiner for multiple universities, and leads OPD clinical training for students. His research contributions include randomized controlled trials on stroke rehabilitation, balance training, aerobic interventions in cerebral palsy, and studies on knee proprioception; he is also a co inventor on two Indian patent filings for assistive devices. In addition to academic duties, he coordinates clinical services, manages hostel and student welfare responsibilities, and supports institutional scientific activities. Dr. Das combines evidence based practice with hands on manual therapy and innovative therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes. He is actively seeking editorial board roles to contribute peer review expertise, mentor authors, and help shape the journal’s scope in neurorehabilitation and physiotherapy research.
