Biography
Dr.Patience Folashade Olabinri is a lecturer and researcher whose focus is on the molecular mechanisms underlying mitochondrial and cellular membrane dysfunction. She has over 5 years years of experience with teaching and research and she has presented her research at both local and international conferences. Her research work centers on membrane biochemistry and biophysics, protein-ligand interactions and oxidative stress. She also applies computational approaches to connect biochemical mechanisms with the discovery and evaluation of bioactive compounds for potential applications in cancer research and other disease conditions. Her work has direct implications in situations where the mitochondria and membrane are comprised She enjoys reading and mentoring young ones. She is currently a lecturer at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria.
