Biography

Dr. Nilesh B. Jawalkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at VPM's B. N. Bandodkar College of Science (Autonomous), Thane, Maharashtra, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Zoology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, India. His research has been supported by prestigious fellowships and awards, including the INSPIRE Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and the Newton-Bhabha PhD Placement Award, through which he conducted research at SNES-Newcastle University, United Kingdom. He authorized numerous peer-reviewed research articles in national and international journals and serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals. His research primarily focuses on entomology, screening of biopesticide, integrated pest management, insect toxicology, and applied zoology, with a special emphasis on developing eco-friendly strategies for sustainable agricultural pest management. He actively contributes to scientific research, peer review, and academic collaborations at both national and international levels.
