Biography
Mykhailo Mykhailovych Mushtruk is a Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, specializing in agricultural mechanization, food processing technologies, and the processes and equipment used in agricultural product processing.
He began his academic and scientific career in 2013 as an assistant in the Department of Processes and Equipment for Processing of Agricultural Products and has served as an Associate Professor in the department since 2017. He has contributed extensively to education and academic training, authoring and co-authoring more than 20 educational and methodological works, including textbooks and teaching manuals for higher education students.
Dr. Mushtruk has an extensive research record, with more than 450 scientific works, including 7 monographs, over 200 scientific publications, 150 conference abstracts, and 108 patents. His research has received international recognition, with 58 publications indexed in Scopus and a Scopus H-index of 21. He also has publications indexed in Web of Science and a Google Scholar H-index of 25. His contributions span agricultural and food-processing technologies, mathematical modeling, process intensification, and innovative approaches to food production.
He has completed numerous professional development and international training programs in areas including scientific graphic design, mathematical modeling, blockchain technologies in quality management, vibrational and hydrodynamic methods for food-processing applications, and the European Green Deal in the Ukrainian agri-food sector. In recognition of his academic achievements, he was also a Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine scholarship holder in 2016.
Through his extensive research, teaching, publications, and patented innovations, Dr. Mushtruk continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of agricultural engineering and food-processing technologies.
