Biography
I am currently a PhD candidate in Health Psychology at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), completing a thesis by compendium of research articles. My doctoral research focuses on emotion-centred systemic family therapy interventions with children and adolescents, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the SER model, and the evaluation of clinical assessment processes in real-world psychotherapeutic practice. I am currently working on several manuscripts that are in preparation, revision and submission processes, including a systematic review and a quasi-experimental clinical study.
My professional profile brings together academic research, more than twenty years of clinical practice, scientific and editorial leadership, postgraduate teaching and extensive university collaboration. I previously collaborated in research at the University of California, Berkeley; I currently direct 25 institutional agreements with universities for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology placements and training; and I have taught or collaborated with institutions including UCM, UAM, UNED, CEU, UNIR, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
