Biography
I am Iqra Akhtar, a 5th-year MBBS student at Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad, Pakistan, with a strong interest in clinical research, evidence-based medicine, and scientific communication. My research experience includes original research, systematic and narrative reviews, critical appraisals, Letters to the Editor, and clinical audits. I have worked on research projects spanning artificial intelligence and digital health, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic medicine, oncology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, aesthetic and plastic surgery, dermatology, surgical innovation, and emerging therapeutics. I have presented my research at national and international scientific conferences and actively engage in research mentorship, medical education, and scientific writing. My goal is to explore clinically relevant research and emerging innovations that can contribute to evidence-based improvements in patient care.
