Biography
Hiren Patel, Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Dental Science, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad. He has over 30 years of clinical and academic experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his BDS in 1993 and MDS in Oral Surgery in 1995 from Gujarat University, and was awarded a PhD from Dharmsinh Desai University in 2024. Over the years, he have served as Head of the Department at Dharmsinh Desai University and previously as Assistant Professor at SMT NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, and Government Dental College and Hospital, Jamnagar. His academic and clinical work has focused on oral surgery, maxillofacial trauma, impacted mandibular third molars, and related reconstructive and diagnostic areas.
