Biography
Haris Munandar, M.Psi. is an accomplished Indonesian academic, educational consultant, and licensed psychologist currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya (appointed in 2024). Born in Bima in 1993, he has demonstrated a strong dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and public service in Central Kalimantan. He completed his Bachelor of Psychology (S1) in 2016 and obtained his Master of Psychology Science (S2) in 2018, both from the prestigious Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.
Since joining Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya in 2020 as a lecturer, he has been central to institutional quality assurance, serving as the Accreditation Coordinator for the External Quality Assurance System (SPME). His scholarly contributions have earned him prominent recognition, including prestigious national research grants from Kemendikbudsaintek (Early-Career Lecturer Research Grant in 2024) and Kemendiktisaintek (Regular Fundamental Research Grant in 2026). His career comprises roles in educational consulting (Ruang Guru, 2018), academic administration, and active membership in professional organizations, including the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI) Central Kalimantan.
