Biography
Elena Costescu, PhD, is Professor of Balneophysiokinetotherapy and Rehabilitation at Apollonia University of Iași and Associate University Lecturer at the Faculty of Physics, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. Her academic, research, and clinical interests focus on medical rehabilitation, physiokinetotherapy, physical methods applied in rehabilitation, and functional recovery. She has extensive experience in higher education, clinical rehabilitation practice, and the supervision of bachelor's and master's research projects. She holds a PhD and advanced academic training in physical methods applied to kinesiotherapy and medical rehabilitation. She has also held several university leadership positions and is an active member of national and international professional societies in rehabilitation medicine, balneology, medical hydrology, and climatology.
