Biography
Dr. Hengki Yandri, S.Pd., M.Pd., Kons., is a dedicated academic, counselor, and researcher serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kerinci, a role he has held since 2015. He pursued a continuous and linear academic journey in Guidance and Counseling at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). He earned his Bachelor of Education (S.Pd.) in 2010, completed his Professional Counselor Certification (Kons.) in 2012, obtained his Master of Education (M.Pd.) in 2013, and subsequently received his Doctorate (Dr.) in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution. Dr. Yandri concentrates his research agenda on Spiritual Counseling and Mental Health. His scholarly interest centers on integrating clinical psychological approaches with spiritual values to develop comprehensive mental health interventions. Grounded in his guiding personal philosophy—“Just Focus on Allah”—he strives to maintain unwavering scientific integrity and commitment across his research, teaching, and community outreach efforts.
