Biography

Dr. Bilal Ahmad Lone is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lincoln University College, Malaysia, where he is involved in teaching, research, academic administration, and programme development in psychology. His academic and research work focuses broadly on psychological well-being, positive psychology, developmental psychology, adolescent mental health, social relationships, resilience, emotional regulation, and emerging issues in psychology and technology.
Dr. Lone has experience teaching various areas of psychology, including Research Methods, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Personality Psychology, Community Psychology, and Environmental Psychology. His research interests include understanding psychological and social factors that influence mental health, quality of life, resilience, happiness, and positive development across different populations.
He has contributed to academic publications and research projects addressing topics such as emotional regulation, autism and learning difficulties, adolescent mental health, positive psychology, and psychological well-being.
In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Lone has been involved in academic programme development, curriculum and learning-outcome mapping, postgraduate research evaluation, examination activities, and academic quality-related work. He is committed to interdisciplinary psychological research and to promoting evidence-based approaches that contribute to understanding and improving human well-being.
