Biography
Ashish Gautam, PhD, is a Professor of Nursing at the Shri HV Mehta Institute of Nursing. With over 25 years of extensive experience in both healthcare and academic sectors, his core expertise lies in clinical mental health nursing practice, nursing education, and clinical nursing research dedicated to advancing patient care.
Gautam earned his M.Sc. in Nursing from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, and his PhD from Malwanchal University, Indore, specializing in Mental Health Nursing. He has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and remains an active member of the Indian Society of Psychiatric Nurses (ISPN). His current research focus centers on addressing contemporary mental health challenges, improving patient care outcomes, identifying emerging clinical trends, and exploring the integration and practical uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by nursing professionals.
