Biography
Prof. Anping Zhao received his Doctor Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Computer and Information Science at Southwest University, China, in 2011. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher with the Artificial Intelligence Research Group at the University of York, UK, from August 2015 to 2017. From 2024 to 2025, he served as a visiting scholar at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He is currently a professor at the College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Wenzhou University, China.
His primary research interests lie in cognitive computation and sentiment analysis. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers and holds several patents in big data and cognitive computing. He is presently the principal investigator of five scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial-level natural science foundations, among others.
