Biography
Dr. Angelis Barlambas is a Consultant and Chief Radiologist with extensive clinical and academic experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is currently associated with Elpis General Hospital of the Greek National Health System in Athens, where he has served as a Consultant Radiologist since 2021. He holds an MSc in Interventional Radiology and is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Dr. Barlambas has extensive experience in radiological practice, teleradiology, medical education and professional training. He has participated in numerous national and international conferences and has accumulated more than 300 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. He also holds a certificate of pedagogical and teaching competence from the University of Athens and has served as a medical educator in professional training institutions.
His professional qualifications include GMC full registration with radiology specialty recognition, First FRCR, IELTS, OET and C1 Sorbonne certification. He is an active researcher with an ORCID profile and a Web of Science ResearcherID, contributing to the advancement of radiology through clinical practice, education and research.
