Biography

Alice Thomas is a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Registered Nurse (RN), and Registered Midwife (RM) with advanced specialization in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU). She holds a Professional Master’s Degree in NICU from TECH Global University and a First-Class Honors Bachelor of Nursing Sciences, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Nursing (Research) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Her research encompasses pediatric health technology, AI-driven early developmental interventions for preterm infants, SIDS prevention, and health policy equity. She leads multiple funded grants and registered systematic review protocols on PROSPERO and OSF. An internationally recognized clinician-scholar, she is a recipient of the DAISY Award® for Extraordinary Nurses and the ECCHP 2026 Excellent Oral Presentation Award. She brings rigorous clinical expertise, evidence-based methodological oversight, and commitment to publication ethics to the Open Access Journal of Pediatric Health.
