Biography
Alaa Amarna is a PhD researcher in Finance with research interests in artificial intelligence in business and finance, corporate governance, financial technology and financial performance. His research examines the intersection of emerging technologies and corporate governance, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence disclosure and its implications for corporate decision-making and firm performance.
He has experience in quantitative research design, empirical analysis and statistical modeling, with proficiency in STATA, SmartPLS and SPSS. His research interests also encompass corporate finance, financial reporting and the application of artificial intelligence to business and financial contexts. He is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that bridges finance, corporate governance and emerging digital technologies.
