International Journal of Traditional and Alternative Therapeutics
International Journal of Traditional & Alternative Therapeutics (IJTAT) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal aimed at promoting advances in the study, teaching, and clinical application of traditional, complementary, and alternative medicine disciplines. This journal acts as a forum for researchers, practitioners, educators, and healthcare professionals interested in sharing scientific knowledge on holistic medicine that promotes health and wellbeing. IJTAT focuses on publishing original scientific research articles, reviews, clinical trials, case reports, and communications on topics such as the safety, effectiveness, and applicability of traditional medicine modalities. This journal seeks to provide a scientific base of knowledge that can help promote the integration of traditional medicine systems with conventional medicine practices. Contributions that cover a wide range of topics are welcome at International Journal of Traditional & Alternative Therapeutics including but not limited to herbal medicine, Ayurveda, naturopathy, traditional medicine therapies, acupuncture, yoga therapy, mind-body medicine, nutritional therapy, integrative medicine, ethnomedicine, and other complementary systems of medicine. Contributions covering the applications of traditional medicine in the prevention of diseases, promotion of health, management of chronic ailments, and improvement of the quality of life of individuals can be considered for publication. All papers sent for publication in the International Journal of Traditional & Alternative Therapeutics are subject to thorough peer review and editorial scrutiny for the purpose of ensuring high scientific, ethical, and clinical value of the paper. Being an open access journal, IJTAT makes all content free for everyone to read and share.
